Currently I am in my second year from a Tier 3 college. On campus placements at my college for the 2024 batch is really worse. Few companies are hiring for sales roles etc. and most of them are putting tough eligibility criteria and hiring only few.

To be very honest, I have no hopes from on campus placements. I am going for the off campus route.
What should I do to get a decent intern in third year/fourth year and a decent job by the time of graduation?

Talking about my progress, I am doing DSA, taking part in contests in Codechef, Codeforces, and Leetcode. 
Besides that I have started learning Machine Learning. Have done only the Math part and basics though still now. Been to 2 offline hackathons.

Folks I need your inputs please. I am a single parent to two kids and have a full time job which is basically the only financial source and now WFH is ending and my problem is:

1. With the role n responsibilities i am fully booked for office work and not able to take care of the kids or house like i want to

2. Even if i hire someone like nanny i still thinking of their safety and activities they r doing bcoz i want to engage them is teaching or making them learn spend time with them as they grow be there for them ( bcoz i know how lonely it is to have working parents) so i don’t want them left with nanny bcoz i believe money can be made again but their childhood will not return 

3. Even if i get a WFH role, my time, energy and thinking capabilities will be taken up by the job only again leaving me less energetic, time to care for my kids

4 Everyone is against me leaving the job bcoz that’s the only financial source I have but i want to shift my stream maybe join as a school admin or start a food business that i can handle without much of mental stress but the pay will be way less

So I am looking for something which gives me the time and mental peace to spend and raise my kids with a decent money to meet the needs. 

What can i do???  please tell me any other way out or a guaranteed income source along with being with my kids

Hi everyone, I am a 2023 graduate from tier 3 college currently working in a service based company but I am not really satisfied with it because I believe I could have grabbed better opportunities in campus placement but due to stupid rule of TPO they did not let me seat for further companies and I want to learn new technologies but I am not really getting opportunity here. Hello I'm 22F a 4th year student from a tier 3 college. I got placed on campus in a very small scale startup for 6.5 lpa but the internship period was of 9 months at 15k per month in blr. Now they have announced that they won't be giving PPO to us. My internship is ending in March 2024 before that I need to get into a new job. But all the openings are low paying i.e. 3 or 4lpa jobs and I'm in doubt with my DSA skills. I need someone who can mentor me on this path. I've worked on mostly Java, Springboot, Automation testing and C++. 
How should I prepare along with my internship in this 2 months?

I am currently in my third year studying computer science and I am confused about what to do next. Here are some quick points about my profile:

- Strong GitHub profile
- Part of Google's summer of code 2023
- Built some interesting projects (tech stack: typescript, postgres, redis)
- I have studied a fair bit of High Level Design (System Design)
- I have a decent leetcode profile (500 questions mostly medium and Hard) (1800 contest rating)
- I also have strong CS fundamentals (DBMS, oop, CN)

I am currently getting interviews from startups but they want 6 month interns and I cannot do such a long internship right now with college. I am only available for a 2 month summer intern (which most startups don't want). I am from a Tier 2 college and we do have some good companies come for placements but I'm not sure about the scenario for next year.

Any tips or advice on what I should focus on? how I should prepare? what kind of companies I should target?

I am a final year b.tech cse student, I don't know much coding, but have an experience of 1 year internship at samsung, but stilk unplaced, I have lost all my confidence, I wasted too much time doing other things than coding, now if i have to start over again to get a job, is it possible for me to get it in 2-3 months.
