Passport renewal

Non locals working in Bangalore with different current and permanent addresses how did you go about for passport renewal, in Blr PSK or hometown PSK? Any suggestions tips and tricks for the renewal application/process?

Did anyone apply for passport renewal using rent agreement? Does it work? Or changing adhaar address is the only way?

Hi I am new to the whole process of creating a passport and want to ask how other people who may have had a use case similar to mine went ahead with getting a passport. My use case: I have been living on rent in Bangalore since the past 4-5 years. My family too lives on rent in Mumbai. I mentioned this because as far as I know one needs a permanent address and address proof to submit for a passport, can someone who has dealt with a similar use case help me out please? What should I do?

Hi all, I recently got my passport renewed. But somehow the pincode in the address I've put a different one. Rest all address is correct. Would it be a problem in future? Should I/ how can I get it correct?

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Need to switch houses soon (humongous rental hikes have hit my society haha), can folks here provide some stats on what they’re paying, in which area, and how long ago they moved in. Also suggest some decent places to look for, area don’t matter, I’m mostly looking for metro proximity. Thanks!
