People who have just graduated from a non tech background, how much are you all earning?

Just wanted to see general sentiment. Coming from a tier 1 clg in du most roles offer between 50-80k base, not including variable. Also do mention the field you've gotten into, thanks.

Non Tech Background My first role was at a startup 4 years back; making 12 LPA working as a generalist (founder's office type role)

But sadly 4 years later, 12 lpa (fixed) is at the upper end :(

Did my CSE but started in Sales (cuz I can’t write code/programs for shit)

Started at 1.5 LPA, switched a lot (like 6), now at 15 LPA Moved around in Automobile, Edtech, Fintech and finally settled in SaaS sales! All experience is based across startups only.

All fixed btw. Didn’t include any variables.

Started at 3L in 2014, knew a bit of marketing since I freelanced during college (seo etc). Continued there for 3 years, tried something of my own (didn't work). Ensured that I know a lot more than just running ads - I can code, design and write copy. Joined an e-com (9 lpa). It became an unicorn. 2 years in, was at 17 lpa. Got an offer at a startup as the first marketing hire in 2021, 36 lpa + esops. Now I'm at 44 after 2 years.

Earning anything above 50K would be the ultimate dream as a fresher.

Yes, but not if you're from a tier 1 clg. The whole point of a tier 1 is good placements and crowd, studies are okay ish (personal opinion)
