Too scattered, rebalance and consolidate

Keep 3-4 MF with 75K SIP for better results in long term

Result will be same, right? Only hassle will be more if too scattered no?

Not really - atm lot of funds will have stock overlap so basically you will be investing different value in same stock through different MFs

Everything looks similar, check holdings for your above 7 MF, I’m guessing hard that it’ll have mostly same holdings. What’s the point in investing then in 7 different MF.

Buy 4-5 MF best in its category

This is my recommendation, you can divide your 75k based on your risk appetite.

  1. 1 index nifty 50 - any
  2. 1 mid cap - Motilal Oswal
  3. 1 flexi cap - ppfas
  4. 1 small cap - nippon/quant
  5. 1 tax saver - quant

Bro these are too many MFs to have. MF already means diversification. 10 MFs mean it is over-diversification. Almost all funds in a category have same company's to 60%. Remaining is dead weight. Try to consolidate 3&4, 8&9, 1&4. Ideal number of MFs is 4. My 2 cents.

Yeah, I have it coz I fear what if the AMC go bankrupt? And have index and active funds separate coz , I saw in the past that there are many MFs which could not even beat benchmark.

First for can be combined into 2 funds. Ideally Nifty 50 and next 50

Then one mid cap and one small cap

A total of 4 funds should cover the most of index

Too many overlaps of stocks, not a very good strategy
