PM to consult?
I am part of core product team in fintech. Looking to move into management consulting. How to?

A) Would love to know more about some career trajectories post consulting + some people who have inspired you whom I can check out on linkedin (in case grapevine allows for it). B) How feasible is a pivot to industry post consulting?
It's not that difficult tbh. Depends on the area of expertise. I switched from consulting to a business strategy role. Also had options for product, growth and internal consulting roles. Transformation roles and new age tech are areas you can consider as well if you've worked in them before

I have switched my career from tech consulting to product. I had previously worked in product based company helped me to switch. However if you are purely into technology aspiration, I would say to move into some product based companies. As you grow in consulting it would be more of soft skills and delivering client requirements than building technology oriented solutions hands on. Choose based on your aspirations and don’t worry you still have lot of time to pivot and choose your career.
