Problem: Today, every company uses "a ton" of tools- Notion, confluence, Drive, PDFs etc. and the information is scattered and hard to find.

Solution: I (along with my co-founder) am working on a centralised search tool where you connect all of these tools as integrations and voila you find it. Plus, we are also adding a layer of asking questions, "What is our churn rate" Instead of finding a document and then navigating through it to find the answer, you will get the answer right there.

Need help validating startup idea

Hey guys, I am building a personal finance management, essentially FinTech in India ￼ to give users, a smart banking experience without any neobanking bullshit .

Don’t have to open a new bank account to have great features like a Jupiter has. Not selling credits. And great user experience.

The best part to track and manage your finances, I don’t ask for your gmail access or do any SMS scraping so what do you think? ￼

Honest feedback on my startup

We already have many platforms which do the same thing but their major problem is wrong/fake data. So one more similar platform is not going to change anything.

It would be revolutionary, if you guys could come up with a way to verify the salaries.

Otherwise it's just adding more noise to the already existing junk data.

I think hope, aka hopium, works well as a product and a business in a country like India. Example are Naukri.com, shaadi.com, jeevansaathi, dating apps etc etc. 

The current wave of hope in this country is validation that whatever I am doing (be it in my job, startup, business, partner, or health) is correct, and some players have worked on this insight and made a decent business out of it.

I've been given task of talking to few users every month, although i do it for the sake of showing it on paper, i don't find any real value out of it. 

It's an activity that just drains my time. 

I know what needs to be built, and have insights that hardly anyone in my org has.

I am creating a software solution (mobile app+web app) which can help a small group of any and friends group to create a workspace(similar to slack) and then create events and they will be able to create tasks for those events and can also chat with people in the same workspace.
So basically a (jira+slack) for non organisation peeps.

I started creating this two months back, and a basic MVP will be completed by the end of april.

How do I market my MVP?

I know hiring tech is nothing new, but still many issues persist. 

We are planning to build a platform which will focus on solving many issues with the current interview system in an innovative/futuristic manner. 

We'll utilise AI/LLM based solutions wherever possible, although the focus is on solving the core problem.

Mostly it will be a B2B SaSS type, focusing on hiring designers/developers etc.

What are the various issues you have faced during your interview process which you feel should have been solved by now? doesn't matter how big/small it is, if it has bothered you ever, please comment about it.

Long-ish post but I’m just thinking out loud here: 

When you’re working in content, you’re always looking for expert insights for your blogs, whitepapers etc. but there are many roadblocks (finding the right person, constant follow ups, too busy to collaborate) and even on platforms like HARO, Qwoted etc. you get AI generated replies. 

What if there’s a tool that automatically creates a list of industry experts you can reach out to, along with extracting their contact info by using AI (analysing their LI, web presence etc.). The tool can also create a personalised email outreach sequence to avoid multiple follow ups too. You can eliminate guesswork and reach out to people who can actually provide meaningful contributions to your piece. 

And for SMEs, instead of scheduling long meetings they can just receive a form with focused questions relevant to the topic where they just respond via text or voice notes. It saves time and ensures fruitful collabs. 

Is this an idea worth exploring or should this just be left alone as a 2am thought? Honest opinions pls, be as brutal as y’all can be :)
