To share roadmaps and ensure visibility into what you are doing, what do you do? Send emails? Use a popular app and give people access? Make PPTs? All of the above?

Really depends on the context and what you're trying to achieve with that set of comms. A healthy combination of giving people access and sending across Slack/MS Teams one pagers is what I do. Roadmap is either on a deck/PPT or in a doc which is open to all once the map is locked.
