I was having a rift with my manager at Walmart. She put me on PIP because I was not available on the days I was on leave. I had approved applied leaves on the days she quoted for PIP. Now culture has became too toxic and too much micromanagement is happening. 

I need help from community. I need referral in good companies so that I can come out of this situation safely.

I've been working in Accenture over 1.8 , I'm facing lots of toxicity, politics in my daily work now these days. I've been through a mental trauma as I was under the process of PIP ( Performance Improvement Program) , the clear reason behind it is boot licking, me & one of my colleagues both were into this process, I performed well enough & got 3.5/4 in tasks so they retain me , but she got 0/4 ...for that reason they terminate her. But after PIP in the office they're completely cornering me , they're not treating me as before.... I don't know what to do ,  I'm thinking to switch, but some says it's too early. I'm still under so much confusion.

If anyone help me in any way , it'll be thankful :)

I am recently facing a situation where I am about to be put in PIP. I was working in US tax for 2 years and my outcome was not coming positive. So to avoid the PIP situation I took a transfer to US compensation for the same. As I thought I can give a fresh start to my career. But recently I have been reached out by talent and they are putting me in the PIP situation. My Coach is also not supporting and I don't want to be in this situation since I have a lot of financial burden and the job market situation is not great as well. What should I do in this situation?

I did that with my previous manager. He was extremely toxic for me. I ended up complaining about him multiple times and since nothing happened, I quit. The relationship soured to the point that we didn't even look at each other, let alone greeting the other. I know I might be an extreme case but has anything remotely similar happened to any of you?

I want to share my experience as a fresher at Accenture, my first company from a college placement. The first six months were fine, but then I faced severe mental harassment from my supervisor and manager. She constantly criticized my work and gave negative feedback, causing me immense stress. I often skipped meals and worked weekends to improve, but nothing helped.

Despite reporting the issue and requesting a supervisor change or a different track, my requests were ignored. The harassment worsened, affecting my physical health, and I couldn't eat or sleep properly. My manager controlled trivial aspects like where to sit and whom to talk to, making the situation unbearable. I was even forced to switch from a developer role to a tester, despite being trained as a developer.

The final straw was being placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) without a clear reason, with the same harassing individuals assessing me. I only had 1.9 years of experience then. I reported the mental harassment to HR and resigned due to deteriorating health, panic attacks, and weight loss. Despite having no other job offer, I couldn't continue. Even during my notice period, I was forced to complete PIP assignments, which led to suicidal thoughts and further health issues.

Now, I am jobless, feeling helpless and frustrated. With less than 2 of experience, I struggle to find offers in a down IT market and don't know what to do next.

My Experience as Fresher with Workplace Harassment and Forced Resignation at Accenture

Hey All,

I’m going to have meeting with HR regarding  PIP next week. There I need to take decision whether I have to resign and take 4 months pay or whether I have to go with PIP plan and perform certain tasks for 2 months what they will decide and evaluate.
I’m a bit confused what option should I need to opt.
I’m looking for jobs but didn’t receive any calls till now but I’m actively applying.

From many people I’ve heard that in PIP they are giving hard to achieve tasks and pressurising to resign else if got fail in PIP, they will terminate and will give termination letter instead of relieving letter.
What option should I opt , considering all the possibilities and current market situation?

P.S - I have 2 YOE in front end development 

Suggestions from experience would be highly appreciated and can help me.

I have been put on PIP (Performance Improvement Programme) . 

It's a 3 month long thing, I have to show improvement, if I don't, I will be let go. 

They are saying that my technical skills are weak and I need to spend time outside my work brushing up those skills. If I improve then good else they'll let me go. 

Things escalated this much because my team lead complained that because of me, he had to rework certain things in the project which increased the timeline.

And he did this to save himself. He has been working on another task alone by himself since a month. I had no involvement in that, yet he's taking so long himself. To hide his shortcoming as a team lead, he is using me as a shield.

Now my dilemma is, should I focus on proving my worth to the company or should I just keep applying for jobs?

Considering the current market situation, what would be the best way for me to look for jobs?

I have been put in PIP and i am really scared, most of the folks say it is difficult to get out of pip and people usually shift to a different company. I am the only earning person in my family and i do appreciate any leads or referrals, i am a pyrhon developer with 3.5 years of experience, i have experience in pandas, numpy etc and selenium for webscraping also has experience in django and flask web development libraries, also Postgresql, Aws, etc. , i dont mind starting afresh and my pip ends on oct 2, please do  help.

70 hours per week? This is a tight slap to Mr. NM and his supporters.

I need some advice regarding an issue I faced at my job at Infosys. I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) with goals that included completing certifications and accelerate tasks. While I completed the certifications, the accelerate tasks were never assigned to me. Despite this, my performance was evaluated, and I was told I failed the PIP, leading to HR taking action against me.

Here are my main concerns:

1. Incomplete PIP Process: Accelerate tasks were not assigned, yet my performance was still evaluated.

2. Unfair Evaluation: The evaluation seemed unfair without the necessary tasks.

3. Lack of Support and Communication: There was little guidance or communication about the PIP process.

I've asked HR and my manager for clarification and am waiting for a response. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate any advice or similar experiences you can share. How did you handle such situations? What steps did you take? Thank you.

Seeking Advice on Unfair PIP Evaluation

Today I got a call from the HR team that I've been put on PIP. I have been on Bench for 2 months and they are doing it for Cost cutting. Furthermore they asked me to get a project in 2 months otherwise I have to self resign.

My doubt is if they forced me to resign after 2 months in case I didn't get any interview calls, Will they give me notice period (3 months) salary???

So Flipkart will be doing performance based layoffs. I have been placed on PIP. How should I proceed considering I don't have any other offers and not much experience either.

1. Resign immediately.
2. Do the PIP completely and then see if I pass or not?
I am not in a good financial position currently.
