Except GV, none of them is shipped from India.

Social media has evolved like anything.

Now my 90% time goes to GV and distant 2nd is Twitter and LinkedIn etc.

GV can be really big if things go right 👍

LinkedIn has 100M+ users in India, so TG is huge.

Monetization should be done in such a way that it doesn't snatches the charm of product unlike other SMs ex quora.

Any suggestions to make GV a better product gvians?

Is this true or is it just me? 

I feel at this point there are no moats in consumer fintech.

The framework seems to be in a rut, everybody is doing the same thing.

Account aggregator, spend insights, personal loans, credit card, mutual funds, indian stocks, us stocks, etc etc.

If 5 different apps have literally the same features, with no meaningful edge over the other, what would you go for? How do they stand out?

Customer support? Onboarding? Branding? Picking a niche TG?

Wanna hear what other product folks think about this.

While I'm proud of these two revolutionising the quick commerce space, I somehow have a bad feeling about this

Profits aren't coming, money is flowing
Don't know what the VCs are seeking?
Why bake a a pie that you can't eat later?

Too much money too soon, where have we seen that?

Doing some research, and the conclusion is just cultural reasons and lesser impact of influencers in India vs. China. Also WeChat.
But seems shallow, can somebody help me build on this view?

We always doubt some. For me it was Zepto, never thought I’d see them here. But they’ve really managed to grow while Swiggy and Blinkit were around. 

Which other startups have surprised you by becoming big, despite all odds? Or despite not seeming like big opportunities for you?
