Quick commerce saved my arse today.
So today is Raksha bandhan and every year my parents used to send out Rakhis to all my male cousins on behalf of me.
This year I happen to stay in the same city as all my cousins and their parents live. But unfortunately, I got into rough with my parents and they didn't send out the rakhis, nor kept a word about it with me.
In the family group, a cousin brother kept a pic flaunting a rakhi he received from another cousin. I knew he was rubbing my nose with this.
I quickly called my dad and asked if they sent the rakhis this time or not... Turns out, they didnt.
So thank you tech community for making quick commerce a reality. I was able to send out Rakhis all across Bangalore sitting at my office desk without breaking a sweat (well, technically I was sweating in an AC office... Because of my negligence and emotional insensitivity).
