How about looking at people currently working at the companies you want to work for, and then asking them for an interview? It helps if they spend time recruiting people as well. 
  
 If they have a topmate link (search posts on LinkedIn for such URLs) you can then schedule mock interviews with them and pay as you like

Great idea, but it really depends on how many people would be willing to put in their time

How does an experienced person break into PM roles. Points to keep in mind while.providing suggestions:
1. 10 yrs exp in Tech Industry- 3 yrs in services and 6 years in product based org as QA.
2. Did MBA( full-time from MDI) and now back into the services industry as a business manager.

Never get shortlisted for product roles, most get shortlisted for consulting roles( which I want to leave 😕)
Any method that this break can happen, or should I stop trying in this lifetime
