Resign or Wait?

Recently I had an interview with Accenture last week. I got shortlisted by the same day at night and got an email for completing a task in Workday which is submitting PAN And last 3 months pay slips. The next day received a call from HR, He discussed the compensation and DOJ and said you will get confirmation by the same day only. But it's been more than 4-5 working days, I haven't received my Offer Letter yet. Also got a BGV mail for complete but it requires Resignation detail too with LOA. But how can I submit resignation without any offer Letter. Or usually ACCENTURE taking that much time only in releasing offer letter. Can anyone help with this.

I got OL from Accenture. But after this i HR not picking my call and did not give reply over mail.In offer letter after 90days my joining date.Should i give resignation to current infosys organisation?what you suggest. If i will late then 90 days also extend and i will not able to join on time to accenture.

Hi all, I have an offer from Accenture. I have accepted it. Does this mean it's finalized that I can join Accenture? Or should I wait for BGC to complete? It's my first switch so I'm confused. What are the next steps?

Hello, So this is the first time that I am leaving a job because I have an offer in hand. The offer letter has a joining 2 months from now because my current notice period is 2 months. I am worried that if I sign it now and then go resign, my current company might create issues and say that due to some delay or something, my last working day will be a bit later than exactly 2 months and I won't be able to join the new company on the agreed upon date. But I also don't want to resign before I have signed the new offer, so that the new offer is confirmed. Do you have any advice for me?

I interviewed for data engineer at Amazon in feb. I was told that my profile has been put on hold because so meone else has been chosen internally. Now recruiter comes up with BI engineer role. Got selected. I didn't say anything because I just wanted to get out of TCS at all costs. Now she's demanding that I must join them on 22 april, which is less than 2 weeks away. Are they trying to back me off? Because the request is unreasonable. They haven't yet released offer letter, salary negotiations haven't taken place. Should I ask for offer letter first? Or ask for early release with TCS? What should my plan of action. Need advice.

4 companies have my offer letter stuck in pipeline, probably they are waiting for my lwd to nearby, which is in next 4 days, how do deal with such situation

Hi All, For example while searching a job you will get one offer and you accept also then in the 2 months notice period if you get another offer from another company how to talk to first company ? How you guys are tackling this situation?

guys, need your views on this. one of my close friend's notice period coming to end wednesday and joining other firm on thursday. also there's a round ongoing with global ecomm major, which supposed to close by monday max with Hr discussion & sharing docs on same day but they're saying it may take them a week or more release offer letter and then she can join this would mean either delaying the joining in currently offer holding org or to let them go and sit idle in the period till the new org releases offer letter but again look at the gamble involved. low but still not 0 chances that later there might be some issue or related which may delay the joining further or even if hiring freeze comes in may result in hold of offer letter. what would you do in such a situation? joining offer holding org and then jump to new once they release? (would mean quitting in couple of weeks or so) or take the risk and wait for a week or so (ETA uncertain) till they new firm releases the offer?

I'll go first. I got a call for an APM role from one of the companies which did sound pretty sketchy and the recruiter was started bullying me into answering questions, when I asked to know more about the role. The recruiter was extremely unprofessional, and obviously the conversation was nowhere great. They however, did go ahead and sent me the JD and other links, etc to fill in and apply for the job. Mind you, I hadn't applied for the job. 🥲 It just was a pretty sour conversation which had left me in an uncertain situation. Any similar experiences?
