 Just a check job posting of data analyst in LinkedIn, and see how many people apply for 1 role.

It is still a safe bet. It takes skill and pays well, so it's ok. 
  
 My advice though would be to focus on days engineering, rather than completely algorithms and data science. 
  
 Both analytics and AI is 80% data engineering and data preparation. So focus there first and ofcourse you have nurture your love for algos along the way

A lot of noise around AI taking coding jobs, which i fear might be real. Like not completely but you get my point. Which role is likely to have a better future in terms of career growth? A data modeler or a data engineer?

I have 7.5 years of experience with around 6 years of experience in data analytics/engineering and last 1.5 years as a data modeler.

I have given interviews for both these rules in the last month and have got offers from mostly service based companies. But I am not sure whether to continue in this role or go for a masters in data science with a DE background. Please share your viewpoints

Currently in my 7th semester of engineering ( information technology). I'm really interested in starting a career in data science and could use some advice.I have a basic understanding of Python and pandas, some machine learning concepts, and we've covered basic SQL in our academic syllabus. I wanted to ask for guidance on how to begin my journey in data science. What's the scope of this field? Is it future-proof and not easily replaceable by other technologies?We don't have on-campus placements for data science roles, so I'm taking a risk by pursuing off-campus opportunities. What should my roadmap look like to land a fresher job with a package of 12 LPA or more? Are there specific resources like courses, books, or websites you would recommend to build my skills?

I spoke to an experienced guy in the IT sector who has worked in many FinTech firms and consulting companies. He said when the data science hype started several years back, companies started getting funds from venture capitalists to set up data science wings . Companies went on a hiring spree with this money to hire data science professionals.

However, as the years passed, these data science departments failed to generate revenue as expected. Also, some aspects of data science will very likely be automated. So companies will probably hire less data science professionals and may even fire the resources hired earlier.

Hi, I am proceeding towards fourth year of engineering in CS and have somehow developed interest in Data Analytics. Done quite a few certifications on Coursera and quite confident in Python/SQL. 
1. How can I start my career in Data Analytics? 
2. How to reach out to companies for this role?

How to start with Data Analytics?

I am a fresher working as a Data analyst in a growing startup. My current role doesn't include much of coding just python and SQL and sometimes little bit ML work. Currently handling 2 projects, and some of PM work to define some roadmaps.
I like engineering and coding in whole and want to know more. So do I switch to some SDE role or is there are more paths after Data analytics? I know ML, DL and NLP but not sure will it be a great choice to make career primarily in Data science.
So, I am little confused. Please give all good advices.

I am a 2nd year engineering student about to enter my third year, and I am still unsure of which skill to focus on to secure a job. I have a good grasp of DSA and was considering starting web development, but I am concerned about the high competition in that field.
