Robocall service

Personally I hate chatbots. One more incident today. I had to explain about an issue 4 times from the start. Because every time the bot couldn't understand the issue and was closing the query. How do the companies measure the success of these chatbots. Certain that the success rate is quite low. Barring only the cost issue I don't think chatbots really helps the company, also to the customer. I will prefer a brand i can talk to on a call(please not a robocall) and just the end issue at the first moment. Service companies should definitely look into the customer satisfaction index.

I have been using the same phone number for more than 15 years and I’m getting a minimum of 7-8 calls everyday from financial services, charity, insurance etc. I’ve never made any loan inquiries. Also enabled DND from the day I remember. However, this keeps me bothering. Any hacks to get rid of these spammers? I have more than 800 numbers in my block list…. But still…

Anyone here think that the number of random sales calls have increased in the last few months ? Lately I’m being bombarded with random unsolicited calls mostly with pre-recorded messages. Anyone know any solutions to stop receiving these calls - DnD doesn’t seem to be working

I have lost money in multiple payments, they just never got completed and no refund. Customer care services are more pathetic.

Sharing my worst interview experience with Accenture...last week HR scheduled an interview but panel did not join. They called me day after and rescheduled interview. Again this time...same happened...I waited for 25 mins and left the meeting as panel did not join. Trying to contact HR but no response. All the efforts and time candidate put into interview are of no value to them😑.

Is anyone else getting these random calls saying your parcel has been returned from some place like Taiwan or Singapore? It's a very well orchestrated scam where the robo call puts you through an agent who then gaslights you into thinking you've sent some sensitive item and that they need your PAN to get it delivered.

Has anybody also observed that the number of spam calls for credit card, pre approved loans increased exponentially? I wanted to figure out the root cause of this. I remember one of my friends asking me to download ONE Score app to check my credit score, around 5-6 months ago and since then, on an average there are 4-5 calls daily. Not saying this definitely was the root cause but just a speculation. Just wanted to know what others feel regarding this and any steps they took to mitigate this.

I applied for a standard charted credit card via a phone call agent. (sir you are eligible for a card call wale). I wanted a platinum LTF card but she said after submitting the details I am eligible for another card with fixed yearly charges of 350. She told me she would pay me 350 after I received the card. She called back-to-back during office hours. So I blocked her. In the last two days, she has called me from 7 different numbers, at least 20-25 times. Finally, I picked up her call, and she told me that she would have to pay 3000 rupees fine If I won't process my card. She will G-pay me 350. Should I do the v-KYC?

Post inspired from another post. What is your method to deal with spam calls? What I have tried and it worked well for me: Get Android phone. Get Truecaller. Block all calls not in the phone book. Do this for a month. All callers will find your number unresponsive and remove you from calling lists. If you are expecting unknown calls like Swiggy/Zomato/Amazon, unblock momentarily till the delivery. Your number has been public. Your telecom sells it, bank sells it, Universities sell it, discoms sells it. Your number is sold as soon as you buy a new SIM from a telecom. If there's a buyer, even you wud sell your number for a good price. Weird world. Even TRAI is useless and doesn't execute fines plus the onus is on you to complain and report via a stupid needless form for every spam. In India, Truecaller is a 99% good solution.I know some friends in sales & call centers who mentioned they don't wanna waste effort & time with non-converting leads. So they update their calling lists & non-responsive numbers are filtered out. So every 6mo, I block all unknown numbers and monitor my spams. Worked well.
