Rumour | Large layoffs at Bain

Heard from people I know at Bain that they are laying off. This is mostly the first time an MBB is doing layoffs (earlier they would silently fire, or delay onboarding) A friend got impacted. Seems like this could be 10-15% of their consultants. Unprecedented.

Tata nexarc asked 20% of its employees to leave organisation in next 90 days. They have been informed that their resume has been floated to other TATA group companies

Goldman Sachs laying off a big chunk of their workforce, about 4000!

Rumor mill is fired up since a week and all meetings with senior leadership this week have been removed from calendars without any notice! Also noticed that several leaders are WFH today. Guessing that is to avoid nervous conversations and to engage in private meetings over phone calls to decide which heads they are going to chop off. The 🔔are going off! Prepare yourselves!

Also any insider info on the same?

Someone from my connections told that Flipkart have consulted Bain/BCG ( don't remember exactly) and are planning to fire 10% of the workforce Anyone heard something?
