I would suggest entering the semi conductor industry. It will not go down anytime soon.

Do u mean should I go for like embedded role or just as an semiconductor industry for software role??

I mean embedded and even writing software for hardware chips is better. Hardware is never going out of fashion and given the demand for electronics these days. I don't think it will reduce anytime soon. It will increase even more.
