"Salaries on Grapevine" is useless unless we have a way to verify the data

I see salaries feature on Grapevine from a long time is dead, it doesn't have list of proper roles or companies and not very intuitive in showing details for the mass. Plus roles in finance, tech, etc and not available and all goes under operations, etc. Since request to grapevine team to either remove it completely or improvise it to a level of being helpful.

1. Request to grapevine team: please allow selecting all options for every filter. What's the point of allowing maximum 3 options? 2. Today there's suddenly a LOT of data points compared to 2 days ago. Did a large bunch of people add their salaries in these couple of days?

Grapevine is becoming more of a salary checker app now.

We read every 'report' that you share with us and take action appropriately 5. Grapevine on Web (I swear the first build is super exciting - I'm typing this post out on an early version of Grapevine Web 😉). This should allow people to browse Grapevine while in a boring meeting 😂 6. Salaries: We're building something exciting for better salary information 💰 7. Verification: You may have seen some users on Grapevine are now verified with a blue check. Currently only launched for employees of 3 companies, we'll launch this soon for more companies. This is how we'll raise the bar on trust within Grapevine. And no, we never plan to charge for blue ticks like some other platforms. How does companies like Grapevine/Blind/Hood make money? How big is the market for these type of companies?? 🤔

It’s been close to 10 days since we announced Salaries (beta) on Grapevine. This little baby product has gotten good traction, so we want to give it more love and develop it into something deep, and helpful Since launch, more than 10,000 people have used the product, and 4000+ have contributed their salary information anonymously :) We are working on making the product even better and make more data points available as we go.
