Hi folks,I am planning to switch my company in 2 months.I have 4 yoe.Out of which I have 2 yoe in a service based company (support role).
And 2 yoe as ML Engineer at a start up.Currently I am upskilling on gen ai and mlops as well.

Current CTC :12 LPA(FIXED).

What should be the minimum I should expect?in my next switch.

Hi guys! Just wanted to ask what is the industry standard salary for someone who has 4 years of exp primarily working on backend stuff - java, spring boot and worked in azure cloud, devops and GenAI too.

You can comment below your actual salaries too just so everyone can benefit during negotiations.

I've done my Btech in EC from NIT. Worked for 2Y as a dev in IT Services co. Then I did my MBA from one of the old IIMs. 
Got placed as a "Consultant" in one IT services co, where JD said the role is client facing and business centric. Have been working here for close to 2Y. Basically I'm part of an Agile project team, as another Dev/QA resource. I basically do QA for project releases and occasional SQL scripting. Tried internally to switch to a Project/BA role but this experience is hindering me. Outside it's even worse as I don't even get shortlisted.
I believe I have good skills to excel in Product/BA/Project roles. But not getting them as I don't have any prior experience. My confidence is very low now and my career seems to go nowhere.

The pay is also worse, 21.6LPA currently ( of which 17.6 is fixed). I'm not complaining and this money is a lot for most people. But it's not even close to what my juniors after 2 batches earn. 

The only upside in my job is no pressure and can work remotely most days.

What should I do ?
Shall I learn AI/ML and move to an Individual Contributor role ? How to get shortlisted for these after prep?

Any advice or leads would be helpful, TIA.

Hi All,
I am going to attend a training in MS Azure AI from next month and planning to learn additionally, get trained in hands on,get certified too if possible.

The resources and access is entirely provided by the company so it will be easy to train. I would want to know will it will be good to transaction too Azure open ai tech and find projects inside/outside company. I am currently in a support project not much growth.

Will Azure openai jobs be increasing & demanded in the job market in India?

Will it have enough salary equal to a developer if i train and try to switch,I want to switch to a hugh paying technology? Also how much would company offer for 4 years experienced AI engineer?

Or should I need to go with a different technology or different AI?
