I want to write an end to end OTP sending and verification mechanism, I know the code part, I am struggling with gupshup registration, they are asking for DLT portal data. 
 When I go for DLT portal registration of any provider like Airtel etc. , they are asking for business Pan number. 
 So basically is this how it is done?

Yes you need a pvt ltd pan to do it or an llp pan. They've tightened the rules after trai changed stuff. Dlt also needs to be approved for everything.

Product Owner

1. Register for private limited/llp or partnership company (you will require the certificates to get DLT register) 
 2. Get dlt registered on airtel or voda or jio 
 3. Create header and msg content and get that approved. 
 4. Use those details on on gupshup/msg91. 
 5. Buy credits and send the msgs. Done!

Founder

Alternative will be using an email to send the OTP.

Instead of bussing pan, you can use your own pan.

 Don't opt for custom DLT name, just go with default one on Twillio or similar company instead of gupshup

We are working on a small app where Indians prefer to login via mobile number and OTP.
Firebase/Supabase/Appwrite only support a few OTP providers like twilio and all who seems to be expensive for the India Market.
But, there are few local players which are really cheap like 0.2Rs/SMS .
What will be your strategy on integrating these cheap providers into Supabase/firebase.

I have product strategy background.

Cracking PM interviews?

Work culture has become ultra toxic. Managers have started nano managing and literally are a pain in the ass. Product giving unrealistic timelines and leadership agreeing on the same without even consulting the developers and even if the developers are raising concerns, no fucks are given infact they are made to realise that this is how a startup should work. Literally everyone is working their asses off and still unable to meet the deadlines. Empathy is completely lost and WLB is a sham. People including me want to switch but are not even getting time to prepare.

 There was always this pressure of work, but in the past 7-8 months this has become unbearable with no empathy in the organisation.

We are first creating a Data Repository from the existing online footprint, then storing this data in Data Pods, and then creating a lot of User-generated Data packets, where users can transfer their data/interests with their consent to other platforms.

Moonlighting Right or Wrong?

For some reason this app (loan provider) does not seem to have implemented rate limiting on OTP requests. I have received 10+ otps in the last hour on my number. Their customer care is unresponsive. While the chances are still low - a scammer could just brute force an OTP match at some sufficient scale of phone numbers and requests - to get a loan sanctioned.

Any ideas on how to stop this 🥵

Moneyview OTP scam

I created a firebase app that uses phone authentication.
It works fine for the dummy registered phone number.
For other numbers, the service is unreliable with a 10% otp send success rate.

Has anyone faced this before, and solved it?

Please do share any other third party otp service you're aware of that's cheaper than twilio.
