Senior Data scientist roles

Hi All, I have 6 YOE. Initial 2.5 years I worked as Backend developer in Python, Django, AWS and Little bit JS. After that all of my experience is in Data Engineering mostly in GCP (have few certifications as well.) Currently I am working at Walmart. Most of the work I do in Data side is adhoc and projects are also not upto the expectations lot of manual work is also there. I am not really enjoying my career as data engineer. Pay is good. I am thinking to move back to Software Engineering, 1. is it a good idea for long term? 2. What skill should I focus on if I have to move back? 3. Is it just the projects that I am working on making data engineer look less interesting to work ?

I am working as head of data and analytics for a small test preparation startup from Portugal based out of Bangalore . The role involves creating of data engineering platform and analytics system from 0-1 , the volume of data is small and not much interesting work as data literacy is less . Salary is 1 cr+ , with very good wlb and manager but not good work . Should I stay more than 2 yrs if my brand will be diluted and won’t get into good. Companies , I worked in walmart and razor pay . What should I do , in these small setting is my career over

have a offer if director data science in Walmart labs working on supply chain optimization salary 95 base+ 20 l esop + 10% variable I have got an offer from finish electric battery series B manufacturer full remote who wants to build the entire data platform from 0-1 which involves building of data lake , analytics and machine learning platform . The data is less and brand is unknown salary 1.2 fixed + 30 lakhs esop + 20% variable .role chief data and Ai officer Which offer should I pick as the second one does not have data at scale and it's just starting but the role is border and unknown brand or Walmart which works at scale but the role is only ds in supply chain Long term career which would be good both are based out of Bangalore

How to enter in this data sc field if you are a fresher . I have seen many comp hire only people with min 4-6 experience . Also mention companies that hire freshers where i can get a good start for my career growth . Thanks in advance 😄
