We should have a community of Shower Thoughts 😅 I think the information is not shared because your buying pattern will change. I would place more orders with real restaurants than cloud kitchens

I will definitely prefer real kitchen, because after seeing condition of few cloud kitchen around, I am not sure about how hygienic the kitchens are. Also, helps me understand from where I am ordering. Don't you think as customer we deserve transparency. If cloud kitchen fear to lose customer maybe app can have few recent images of kitchen to be posted. This way apps can assure the better quality too. Can't agree less of having a page for shower thoughts. 😆

So, someone was asking this question to me on GV 2d back like eatclub is spending so much on promotions. Will they be able to sustain? Ans In foodtech if LTV > GMV-CAC then it's fine. People order 2k-3k worth food, so 5oo is a small cac. Moving forward, what do u think about foodtech space in India, Tam is huge but so many firms already there and food n relationship are two stuff ki if it's bad u will not go back to the situation again. India has a lot of food tech unicorn 🦄. 1. Swiggy 2. Zomato 3. Rebel foods 4. Biryani by kilo 5. Eatsure 6. Box8 7. Eatclub And few more soonicorns. Do you think Dil foods kinda firm which run on cloud kitchen based strategy can work in long run? Btw I use swiggy and eatclub a lot and both are wonderful products!

How did Swiggy make this feature?

@swiggy PMs how are you able to segregate the dishes as 'Desk Friendly' in this feature? You could have either 1. Given an option to the restaurants to classify. However, this rather makes a false incentive to label for more visibility. 2. Give restaurants to classify a limited number of dishes. This still adds to false positives in the list. 3. Crowdsourcing. I haven't seen anything as such. But it sounds tedious. 4. Some form of ML segregation? But an AI feeds in the images sometimes or so I've heard- which leads to a nasty AI loop. Curious to know.

Eatsure app experiences

How is your experience been using eatsure app, I have been using it for one week, prices are much cheaper for same food via Zomato of this cloud kitchen. Good varieties also Now coming to in app experiences, I feel it needs a lot of refinement, it send a lot of unnecessary notification till order completion and beyond. Also once you switch from swiggy and zomato in app experience, you can feel the difference and it makes me appreciate the hard work of all the engineers and team to make such seamless experience. I think eat sure can do better and is a good option but it certainly can do better in app experience and PM needs to work to create better user journey in this. Would be happy to know your experiences and how do you see review this app

UPDATES REGARDING CLOUD KITCHEN

Hello everyone,I hope you remember me. I am a student studying at one of the IIMs. Yesterday was my first day of opening a cloud kitchen on Swiggy, Zomato, and Thrive.I received 0 orders from Zomato and Thrive, but I got 3 orders on Swiggy (2 from friends and family). One order was organic, which I suppose is at break-even (they share detailed stats after a week).The reviews I received are as follows:Packaging: Looks clean and gives the impression of a healthy place to order from.Food: Customers wanted more quantity and a little more spice. I think I can adjust that.But my main question is, how can I attract more customers? I am already offering the maximum discounts. Thanks for any advice and help!😃
