Skills for MBA Grad (non-tech)

Have to pay off EMIs on home loan...please need referrals for product/data/business analyst roles.. would probably get laid off next week.. Experience - 6 yrs Tech- SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI,A/B testing, hypothesis testing Company- online food delivery.. u know it already

I’m going to join an MBA college this year. I’ve 2-3 months of available time before the session begins in either June or July 2024. Currently, I’m learning Excel and PowerPoint as recommended by almost everyone I’ve asked for advice. Besides this what skills, certifications etc. should I learn in order to enhance my CV(My major specialisation is going to be in marketing). I’ve also got to know that certifications don’t have much value since you cannot mention those in your CV. So is there anything I can do as of now which will help me to strengthen my CV. Please don’t tell me to relax and chill because my academics are below average and I’m going to face issues during my MBA journey so I want to utilise these 2 - 3 months in a productive way so that it gives me headstarts for my MBA journey. Also any advice on how to make the most of my MBA journey, including specific actions to be taken during the program with a focus on achieving a successful placement would be greatly appreciated. I am currently in a sales generalist role making around 3 LPA in a startup. I am already 25 and I would like to switch into account management or a media buying role. What skills or tools should I consider learning? Currently learning excel & will be starting power BI. My goal is to reach at least 10 LPA this year through any certification or a skill. I know I have higher expectations but I am ready to learn anything that it takes.

Skills required for freshers to go atleast 15Lpa.

Context: Worked at a boutique consulting firm this summer and loved it, especially my team and my manager who was very empathetic and caring. Received a PPO. Problem: Given family financial circumstances (primarily) I had to think beyond my interests and hence sat for placements and received a placement from a much bigger consulting company. I now feel super guilty and do not know what to do. I eventually want to come back to the boutique firm as it specialises in a niche I care about (once family issues sorted). Question: Is it wise to be fully upfront, first tell my side of the story to my manager asap and reject PPO politely? If not, what is a good way to do it? TL:DR - How to reject a PPO after accepting it? Any honest opinion and advice would be highly appreciated. I understand I have put myself in this complicated situation.

What are the ideal options out of the PM roles and what kind of profile is required for the same considering I've started my career being a PM only? Is an MBA required for these roles?

Recently I have been interviewed by a company and cleared the first round. Then I had 2nd round of the interview conducted through intervue.io which is a outsourced platform. The interviewer was least bothered to know what I am doing in my current role and how I can contribute to org but only conducted interviews by posting code snippet to solve. Do you think it is right way to conduct interviews? Please share your experience
