Skills vs Knowledge

Skills are overrated. Everybody's chasing it. But Skill have short duration of diminishing returns. Knowledge is more important than Skills. We are living in the era of Knowledge economy after all. Knowledge is the foundation on which skills gets substantiated. Knowledge helps us in having idea of what skills are important and more specifically how skills to be acquired. It helps us in acquiring skills in appropriate way such that we would be able to utilise it in a way benefitting us the most. Above knowledge is wisdom. Wisdom provides us a long term direction through which we would have to direct our lives. Knowledge is our domain specific. Whereas wisdom is based on the holisticism.
