I know most of us don't have a choice as we need to earn to make our livelihood, but what keeps you going day in and day out? Or do you just wait for the weekends. I think very few people get to do what they love doing. So how do you get through the week ? What do you tell yourself ?

How do you guys get through workdays ?

Not sure if this is true to its core, life depends on the people you spend time  with,even if it is just few hours in a whole month. Thanks to the digital obsession and less socializing.

But I always end up realising that I end up with the wrong people or surroundings.

It just doesn't align at all and even though I give my best to get what I want so that I feel confident from inside on everyday basis,it fckin doesn't just happen.

Guys let's be blunt on these,where have you ended up even though other things in life are well equipped.

Looking back at our college days, I remember how close we were. We used to think our friendship would last forever not only friends but cousins too, but things have changed. No one keeps in touch anymore. The friends I used to fart with are now distant, and when we do talk, it's only after months.

It's frustrating. We're doing well financially, but our relationships are suffering. Whether it's because of work pressure or being tied to the office, we can't visit our hometowns as often as we'd like.

On weekends, I find myself drinking alone, scrolling through old photos and videos of friends and family with some songs playing, and crying.

Life goes on...! Monday comes restart....!

I just wanted to share the feelings so i did :)

As a product manager, I sometimes get swayed by the different requirements that other stakeholders provide though it doesn't seem correct in a macroscopic picture. I feel this can be avoided by having an individualistic approach to the problem statement so that I have complete conviction on the problem to be solved. How should one approach this?

Some managers have better reach in the company and this let's their team be at the top of everything.

I have seen people get promoted and praised just because of their managers reach to upper management and rest are left for scrambles many a time not because they don't work hard enough but because their manager doesn't cares about their job that much or maybe doesn't has that level of reach in the company 

These well fit in managers tend to benefit their entire team with more opportunities, better salary packages and benefits than rest.

Takes too much time to really build rapport and trust with an individual. Especially after coming out of a longish relationship, it feels too daunting to build up history with someone new all over again

I made a lot of mistakes in my life
Never ever worked hard to my fullest potential
Didn't studied well even though I had potential during JEE
Keep getting attracted to girls(very few times), even though I am training myself not to.

Becoming emotionally down often
Feeling guilty of not being able to have someone to talk to.

What I simply want is to work to my fullest potential without getting attracted to the other gender so that there are no distractions and becoming mentally strong to the point that I don't need anyone else continuously present in my life for me.

There has to be a way
Almost everyone around me are so strong
My gut believes I don't have that much time left
I just want to fix everything for my parents and my brother
And leaving with a pride and honor of a MAN.

I have been looking for flats for about 2 months now, finally found a decent, affordable place. . 
In my search for a place in my preferred area, I could not find one place with a per person rent of 15k-20k, esp in a gated society and what is not shady. And then began the search for flatmates
These new people get back to me saying they are interested and have been looking for a place for months but are expecting a rent so low that they back off. 
How do you explain to these people that real estate prices HAVE shot up and are not coming back down? HOW?

There's some real frustration I have developed here, not only because of the high real estate prices, but also because of how people here keep waiting, passing up good places in the hope for cheap but good places when clearly that's not going to happen.

Sometimes this thought really occurs in my mind. I am the only child of my parents being total introvert it's difficult for me to talk to poeple from school and college times whenever i made friends(or whom i thought were friends) drifted apart it was me  always who took the initiative to call or meet them but when i observed that no such initiatives from their side I too stopped bothering them. Even with my cousins who are pretty older than me i don't have that close bonding they are busy with their lives too. Now with my parents growing old i really sometimes fear that i will not have anyone in this world whom i can talk to despite my best intentions and efforts i am maybe not that likeable that people will want to go out or include me in plans. I am trying to improve and socialize more but just one sided effort doesn't seem to be worth anymore.
