Hi there, as i am a fresher and currently doing my PM internship with a startup, so for full time should I look for MNC's or stick to here only. Because here i think we can learn too many things as i am learning. But in terms of problem solving i think MNC'S are great because there we will solve one bigger problem. And here we solve too many small problems. What's your take on that?

I'm seeing so many posts where startup employees are cribbing about things like layoffs, work culture etc etc. Doesn't seem like they have perspective on everything it takes to build a startup. I've built a failed startup myself and have immense respect for founders who are grinding it out there in such difficult recessionary circumstances. And then you have so many of the engineers and PMs cribbing about basics without talking about important things like learning growth, building for the future etc. Why such myopia? I work at a big tech and envy the speed at which startups move, the big responsibility everyone gets to handle, the fast career growth. All these things are being cribbed about. They crib about founders wanting more. Their job is to ensure success, not to give lifetime jobs to entitled people. They have more headaches you can imagine. In my small startup I had a million headaches. I can only imagine how hard it must be to run larger ships. Is everyone joining a startup these days looking for a get rich quick scheme?

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Hi guys, are there startups who help someone who like to start a small business, while working full time. I know there are lot of startups who will provide help with marketing, accounting, legal, web development, sales but what I'm looking for platform which can provide me all the resources along with mentor/guide who will guide throughout the process What I will bring to table- small capital say<10L, time resource over the weekend, problem solving mindset What I want from the startup- experiment with different ideas and come up with the one which will be best suited for my personality/profession/background, for example if I'm from Jaipur highly likely I would like to start something there, I might not be available physically.

From the past few months I'm seeing news of all the big projects of National interest being parked in Gujrat. Be it GIFT City, DREAM City, Chip Manufacturing facility by Tata, 2036 Olymics stadium, 2 new smart cities, center for AI excellence, Cholera Solar Park, Bullet Train stations, etc? I'm happy for all the work happening but it seems unfair that all great projects are happening in Gujrat. If trade is a reason, there are other states as well in western coast like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala. I'm not trying to make it political, but I feel it is. If it's not political please give your reasoning. I want to be wrong on this.

Bangalore's infra has been crumbling under the weight of its population growth. I believe that yesterday's traffic jam was just a trailer and situation will only worsen with time. Seriously contemplating moving out of Bangalore after being here for last 5 years. People who moved out, where did you move? And are you happy now with your decision ?

I'd never heard this name earlier, somehow. So I looked up more. They run Varun Beverages. Again, a name I somehow hadn't heard of (maybe I'm not a very avid stock investor). Varun Beverages (named after his son) apparently is one of the largest bottlers for PepsiCo outside of the US Devyani Foods (named after his daughter) handles outlets for KFC, Pizza Hut etc. It's super crazy how some of the most successful businesses are just things we see around us, but don't care about as much. I'm extremely pro startups - hyper scaling tech companies need to exist. But I think a lot of us are missing out on creating legendary businesses that are profitable on day one, just because it's a longer, not as 'glamorized' path. More of us need to think about this!

had this dream of solving IE irodov and SL Loney which I could not solve during my class 12th and feeling of solving it fully gives me a feeling of ecstasy. Although I completed 12th in 2006 that feeling never goes away and I keep finding ways why I could never clear IIT jee and If I could solve these two books I am clear now why I could not clear IIT jee it was the wrong way of studying and I feel there is nothing like genuiessness or intellectual in my opinion although many people might differ with this opinion. After so many years I compare not being to solve IE irodov with not able to do things which I want to do right now like getting international clients , build a mnc etc I have tried to build a startup in the past but now I hate the govt regulation part of it.
