Got to know from someone that ppl invest amount in this range & get return on sales basis instead of the equity.

Hello! As someone who works with startups (not in)and has a well paying job, I am often intrigued and keen to invest money (say a few lacs, and provide some mentorship) as a micro angel investor in early age pre series/ seed rounds, to try my hand. Not talking about becoming a LP or joining a VC/PE. (I know the pros and cos, the glamour and the ugly pieces) . While there are some fintech startups where you can invest as low as 5000/- in a startup, I believe these aren’t for me. Any guidance on how I begin. (Apart from- go out there and network with startup founders and events) ?

Given that these platforms invest at a very early stage, investing in Enterprise Tech, and FinTech businesses at this stage is highly risky without the time-consuming and resource-intensive nature of thorough due diligence, it's crucial to understand whether these platforms are adequately screening potential investments to minimize the risk of fraud or failure. Platform Self-Investment: A Conflict of Interest? A couple of angel investment/ crowd-funding platform raising money for itself using its platform raises eyebrows. This inherent conflict of interest raises concerns about the platform's impartiality and its ability to objectively evaluate potential investments. I invite you to share your thoughts and experiences on angel investing/ crowd-funding platforms. What are some of the challenges and opportunities you have encountered? What advice would you give to others considering angel investing/ crowd-funding platforms?

Founder of a Car,Bike rental platform with a definite potential to dethrone present competition. Completely bootstrapped since 4 years. Last year's revenue is 35 Lakhs. Open to partnerships as well. Just want to take the brand to every city all over India and then international. The company has a potential to easily make 200 crores per annum easily with automated mode. Open for all kinds of suggestions. TIA PS already tried banks for loans they aren't interested unless I have collateral.
