I have been investing in stocks as a side gig (since undergrad) and now full time trader for about 5 years Not RJ /WB returns but decent to enjoy non corporate life (I also have rental income to sustain). More and more people I speak to, they are misguided by youtube / telegram influencers. Drop in your queries and I will try my best to help.

How much do you earn trading? How much capital required. Do you trade equity, or options or futures?
- I aim for 2-3% a month with half of my cap for risk defined index strategies.
- It varies as per individual appetite and how you want to grow. Of course equity and derivatives need diff cap and risk appetite.
How do you learn about stock investing or trading? How much you invest every month??
Investing - get a grasp of financial ratios, understand macro developments, sector headwinds + tailwinds - this is largely how I leant about investing
Trading - Books, YouTube, One trainer + largely own mistakes
I invest about 50k a month in MF and 20k in Nifty ETF.
when to sell the traded stock. I invest but have not knowledge on when to sell. And what are the fundamental i need to check before buying any stock?
