At this stage,No. HDFC bank is no longer the leader of Nifty Bank. It is ICICI Bank. If you have to go after banking stocks rankings should be
1. ICICI
2. SBI/AXIS
3. HDFC
HDFC has been a multibagger for the last 20 years. Now it will only be a consistent compounder of 12-15%.
