Stupidity at its peak!
Why is Indian media so dumb? Making a fool out of themselves is something in which Indian media excels. They seem to be more excited about the Israel-Palestine conflict than even Israeli media.
Of course they are excited. Their TRP and viewership retention are through the roof because of this. News channels are businesses too and will never let a good crisis go to waste.
They are doing this stupidity because it catches the attention of the regular person and maybe keeps the hooked?
Can’t say much if we the consumers prefer entertainment over everything else. We also need masala rather than getting some insightful news.

The news channels cater the no Twitter crowd.. they target the TV serial watching villages ,town crowd. These kind of programs will get a good TRP

Indian media is filled with clowns. I don't even watch tv news anymore cos it's either this or some shitty debate format where they have a bunch of other clowns in a shouting contest.
If I open the news and see more than one person talking I immediately stop watching.
