Switch into FinTech domain

I'm looking to start my career in Fintech. Any advice for me? From where should I start?

Hey good folks, I’ve have had a decent long career of 9 years now, started with finance for 1 year switched quickly to category/program/ business facing roles for the longest time, I have worked in various edtechs - notable Unacademy initial days, currently working for a fintech company, I have a very good interest in tech as a whole for a long time, product management is the best role for me move forward and switch, I wanted to know a way to switch or learn in the right way, do courses work ? Will only practical experience work ? P.s not exactly a newbie in the space, I’ve identified problems, ideated, built and solved problems via features, functionality and process all in the purview of product + results - one of the reason why I find it extremely interesting What would be an optimal way to become a PM (wouldn’t say a right way)

What are the skills required to grow in a FinTech firm? Any specific technology to focus on?

Hey guys I am currently a first year student I am doing cse from manipal but i am interested in startups and in future I want to work in the finance field. So how should I build by profile and what are the necessary things that I need to learn . Any tips for courses ?

Hi. I'm a 9yr exp full stack engineer. Have done webdev mostly. Currently earning around 30lpa I want a job change because: 1. More money 2. Bored of webdev I was looking around and HFT seemed interesting to me. I haven't done my full research on it, but from what little I have done, it seems like it is a very niche vertical requiring highly skilled folks and also we don't have HFT companies in India? Anyways, I'm not fixated on HFT, that's just one avenue I explored. I just want some better paying programming job where I can feel livelier. For eg., when I do complex DB queries for debugging and reports, or digging and parsing logs to find patterns and debugging, or optimizing some piece of code to squeeze more performance out of it. I am fine with writing basic routine to make bucks but it's not fulfilling. Please advise how to go about my career progression in a fulfilling way.

Hi, I am 28 YO currently working in a non-tech role. In few next years I completely want to switch to tech role (preferably SDE) for myriads of reasons but number one being my logical skills and and my love for creation. How should I start working on my skills? Currently I am in a foreign language profile and I have heard from my friends in UK that being bilingual really helps people in tech field. Please suggest ways for getting the degree or skills or both.

Hello everyone, I recently joined a service-based company as a fresher and was assigned a domain. Despite my efforts to learn and adapt, I have found that this domain does not align with my interests. My true passion lies in becoming a Web3 developer or a full-stack developer. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to effectively upskill myself from a project perspective in these areas.
