The worst jobboard: workday
Why on earth do I have to create a separate account for each company, remember password for each, fill in the same lengthy a** information for each despite uploading resume? Why would I fill in my info when my acceptance rate through this portal is less than a percent? (my own calcs) I want to understand what was going through people's mind when designing platform as such. My immediate reaction whenever I open a jobdescription with a redirection to workday is to f* close the website.
Apart from this, they also have the worst engineering anyone could ever think of, like its purpose is to make only the most desperate people apply for the position.
Having to type the whole skill, hitting enter, then it'll search for the skill and if it's there you can add it. And imagine doing this for 10-15 skills. WHY CAN'T THE SKILLS BE SEARCHED WHILE THEY ARE TYPED?
Also the number box will glitch and take you 5 min just to enter your graduation year.
There are word limits for everything, the formatting gets fucked up when you copy paste from your resume and the insaneeeeee loading time between each page.
These are just some of the points I remember, fortunately I haven't used it for a long time.
Seriously companies should know workday has the most dogshit website a person could ever come up with. If they want good candidates, they aren't gonna be filling up that trash.
True. I use an autofill extension for this shit still everytime there would be some newer shittyass fields which wont be picked up the extension so you will have to manually fill those. I dont even think companies would be going through these answers given they have the resume for that. I mean what good will it do to the company knowing my pet dogs name?
I don't even apply to companies using workday now. Workday in their defence says it is protecting applicant data leakage to competitors

Workday is the worst I have seen . Never have I ever received any callback from recruiters when applied through workday. Unfortunately most of the big tech use them
