I got an update from this app I use for investing in startups. They have launched a mutual fund comparison feature which lets you compare your mutual fund performance with key insights with your friends in a very easy consumable format. 

Shows you XIRR, funds invested, portfolio diversity
Doesn’t show actual amount invested by both! 

Very cool feature! I’m very surprised because I haven’t see this in any mainstream fintech apps.

Hey folks, we’ve made tonnes of new changes to Grapevine: 

1. A new look for Grapevine
2. A refreshed app logo 
3. Link-type posts now look better 
4. Image type posts now look smaller and cleaner
5. Lots of new algorithm changes that hopefully send ‘better’ posts to you 
6. Lots of new Private Company Communities (more on this soon)
7. Lots of bug fixes 

As always, looking forward to your feedback and thoughts.

[November Update] A new look for Grapevine

Hey folks, your favourite office manager here! I wanted to share a few small updates: 

1. ‘You’ Tab: Look to the bottom right of the app and you will now see the ‘You’ tab. This is your PRIVATE home for all your profile info, your past comments, past posts and bookmarks. 

Please note: This tab is ONLY visible to you. No one can ever see your past comments/post history on Grapevine. Not even if they ‘Search’ for your user name. Privacy is always a top priority here 🤐

Also try: Changing your user name to something cool like ‘TheExterminator’ and stop being something lame like ‘AverageJoe’

2. There have been minor bug fixes and small improvements here and there 

3. If you continue to face the Undefined bug error. The only solution so far is to reinstall the app. I know this isn’t ideal, but it is what it is :/

As always - keep throwing new ideas at us and we’ll try to build everything we can 

Lastly, something a lot of you have asked for is launching later this week - something we’ve worked on 8+ weeks to build 😇

We have a new update with lots of small (hopefully fun) features. Please update your app to version 24 to check these out: 

1. Grapes on Grapevine: Tap on any person’s user name to see how many grapes they have
2. Trending Posts for you: Across the app you will now see personalised recommendations for popular posts that you may have missed earlier 
3. GIFs in comments: Let’s see if y’all have a strong GIF game 
4. YOE in Salary Cards: much requested update. Now you can see YOE across salary cards 
5. Feed: A new faster and smoother feed experience 
6. Bug bashing: The infinite post repeat error is solved. The image upload error is also solved along with other minor bug fixes

This is not all. We wanted to rollout a few more things this week but now they're delayed to next. Sorry :/

Thank you for all the love and support over the last few weeks. :) 

Grapevine is just 5 weeks old and we are a very small team :)  But we are trying address feature requests as they come from you all. A few things from us: 

1. We recommend you update the app from the play/app store for the best experience 
2. As per popular demand - timestamps have now been introduced in the app  (available on latest version)
3. New (and hopefully better) algo for the popular feed has been rolled out 

Lastly, please feel free to drop in your feedback and feature requests in this post. We will try to implement everything we can.
