But they showed in the placement reports that their students got offers in top firms like BCG etc. I even saw student post that on LinkedIn. Was that fake?

 Don't trust the video u have seen blindly. Don't u think if u they really achieved such numbers, they should have posted an exclusive report with student name, company in which they got placed and CTC breakup?

We provide training in MU. The students in online courses are below average (tier 3 college level). The founder is the son of lovely professional university (LPU) founder. He didn't like the name "Lovely" hence wanted to start something of his own without much effort.

I heard from someone in the industry that Stoa laid off most of the people and only 7 of them are still there, including 4 of their co founders. The Main reason was that they were not able to provide placements to the members and their experience had turn to shit . What is happening with ed tech , also the sauce is that now they are pivoting into self paced courses following the coursera model. Alternative MBA nahi chal payega India .

MBA (any course for that matter) is a “means-to-an-end” to a good job. If no job no demand of that course . Maybe they weren’t able to screen good candidates. As good candidates go to top B schools. The avg guys didn’t get job as expected and then revolted .  
 Many edtechs tried this model of taking avg students and promising jobs but jobs are hard to come by even for good candidates. Hence their models fails.     
 If education in India has to be improved it has to start at the school education.

I came across a few quora posts that described how Master's union is a sham and figures are inflated. Is it true? The date to apply is closing on 10th Jan. Shall I give it a try?

Thinking of taking up the Product Marketing course at GrowthSchool.

I read some positive and negative reviews and it seems that their marketing comms are immature and pushy.

So, on the fence about joining their Product Marketing course. The 7-week curriculum seems good, but is it worth INR 25k?

Could be an opportunity to network and get my foot in the door (into product marketing).

Or am I better off investing a much bigger amount in Product Marketing Alliance or Product School? PMA seems to be the most reputed one globally.

Hey guys!
I have Plaksha univeristy and masters union as my options. I want to build some substantial business. Telling you about my background we have a family business, we are real  estate developer/ dealer( We build flats) then some wholesaler and have restaurant . So maybe after working for 1-2 years i will return back to the base. I personally think Btech( data science) will give me the tech knowledge but gonna miss few aspects of business running.( though a few are covered in it) whereas in BMS which is at Masters union it only has business perspective, not that deep tech. Guys please provide your point of view on it . I am unsure which college should i join.
