For years, I was a night owl who struggled with mornings and felt constantly exhausted. On a whim, I decided to try becoming an early riser. The first few weeks were brutal - I felt like a zombie and nearly gave up multiple times. But I stuck with it, gradually adjusting my sleep schedule and creating a morning routine I enjoyed.
Six months later, I'm amazed at the difference. It wasn't easy, but the impact on my overall well-being has been profound.

A lot. 
 Sister suffers severe psychological ssues. 
 Has been known since 4 years. Can't leave her alone. Trying to get her up on her feet has been a challenge since such people are not that socially acceptable. 
 We've had to juggle cities just so that someone is there to tend to her.  
 It drains the life out of your life. 
 Such things definitely affect professional life as you can't give 100% to your work when your mentally stuck at your home.

What is that one habit that changed your life?

Going to the gym. Very underrated life lack, I’m less depressed that I was a couple of years back, reversed at least 3 years of age and helped me deal with chronic back pain by strengthening the lower back muscle. Only wish I knew this a decade back.

I never expected to be laid off from my comfortable office job at 33, but looking back, it was the push I needed to pursue my passion. At first, I was devastated and terrified. I had bills to pay and a lifestyle I was accustomed to. I navigated the uncertainty by cutting expenses, leaning on my support network, and investing time in building new skills. Ended up being such a blessing in disguise for me.

And although very commendable, and kudos to them for doing what needs to be done, I’d love to hear people who’ve gone down the not so traditional career path or have had weird career trajectories. Are you happy about the decisions you’ve made? Are you content? Is there something you would do differently?

It can be anything related to not doing something you always wanted to but never did, a mistake you realize you shouldn’t have made, or feelings of not being successful enough. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Do you have any regrets?

Failed to spend enough time with my parents. Life moves really fast. If you're around your parents take care of them, spend time with them and if you're away then make sure you visit them often ☮️

Life shows its ups and downs to pretty much everyone. And when you are younger, living with adverse situations that impact your mental peace and health, paving your way becomes difficult. All this can lead to uncertainty about future, can make you doubt yourself and your decisions, or can make you think whether you would be able to make something of yourself or not.
