Update: 
 Ranga did get demoted at the time. 
  
 Then at the end of May'23 he got promoted to VP (he was AVP before the demotion) 
  
 Then 5 days ago he was urgently summoned to GM's cabin. 
 After a short while his slack account was deactivated (GM has an EA with admin access to slack attend his meetings) so basically was fired on the spot for something trivial (nothing really out of place for the stuff he's managing) 
  
 Then other leaders convinced GM to atleast give some time for transition. 
  
 Then they cooked up some shitty story and told people Ranga had already resigned and his LWD has arrived so his slack got deactivated. But he has agreed to wait a few days to help transition what is a huge team working under him. 
  
 GM is literally like a 5 year old having access to nuclear codes.
