So there are a class of people managers which lots of firms hire, who are very good at a) giving lofty aspirations b) breaking confidence of folks even after they work hard - easy for insecure overachiever junta c) so the people start doubting themselves and constantly chase the illusive carrot 🥕 So, folks stop working for unacademy but to get the “validation from their manager” which may not come 🥲.

Most of the Edtech is fked up in India. Crazy investments pushed for exponential sorry hockey curve growth as they call it. If you want to make money at any cost, join their sales teams. You may make 1cr+. If you are asking about leave policy and work timings, it's not for you.

I have another offer from Lighthouse Learning, but nobody knows this company, they run EuroKids schools(Old school firm), will my career die upon joining Lighthouse?

Work Life: No Balance at Unacademy

Sundays, the day where even Jesus took a breath of freedom, Unacademy Leaders think that just because you are a working professional you aren't supposed to have ONE DAY OFF! The whole Saturday we ran around creating data pointers and decks for a meeting that never happened with GM and now Sunday evening they are informing the whole team to report early for the same meeting that was supposed to happen on Saturday changing the data pointers and getting all ready before 10am Monday. I mean I understand mismanagement but this behaviour is getting way out of hand! Word to the wise and also to the so called leadership at Unacademy, you guys have no clue what you are doing and within the next 3 months I bet you guys will be the next Byjus. au revoir!
