Upstox

Can someone provide context about culture at Upstox in product in particular? Also they are hiring for a few roles since months and they are still open. How is the team/biz?

2 Engineering Director's and a Marketing Director left in last 2 months. CTO, CGO, CHRO have put down papers and are leaving soon. A Sr. Engg Director has also resigned. A couple of SDE's joined and are leaving within the month of joining and more older SDE's leaving too. These are voluntary exits despite the current layoff and downtrend.

Cleared all the rounds and even sent the HR the documents they asked for. They also said I would have to relocate to Mumbai. However it's been more than a week and they haven't rolled out an offer letter. HR said that since they invested so heavily in IPL, they are trying to reassess their budget for this quarter, that's why it's taking so long. Should I be worried? I have a feeling that I even if I get an offer they might try to lowball me/lay off later.

Applied through instahyre, got instant message but with lay offs going on and startups taking on VC funding, do you think it's a good place to work? In startups I have been people just care about getting it done and not getting it done correctly and pushing shit if it breaks just to get off the hooks. Is it like this? Which companies are like zerodha in terms of developing stuff while looking at the bigger picture?
