Ways keep track of recently funded startups apart from crunchbase

Please suggest free alternatives to Crunchbase and Tracxn to discover companies and startups. The above two have very limited search listing for free users. Any other ways to discover companies would also be helpful.

Hey folks, can you list early stage startups or seed funded startups please? Any resources to find them [The Free ones] ? I know crunchbase but can't afford it.

What are some relevant websites/sources to track some growing startups, which are doing series A,B funding in india or even across the globe

Hey all👋 I am trying to write a research paper on StartUps. (topic is not fixed yet). What would be a recommended platform get details of the Startups? (For ex: Funding, Employee strength) . Not looking for accurate information but just an outline would be enough. Currently using Tracxn and Crunchbase.

RANT ALERT I am a Software Engineer with 2 YoE. Wherever I apply they ask for 3+ or 5+ YoE minimum. I am hardly eligible for any roles. To one recruiter I really got angry and said "What is it that you believe 3+YoE candidates can do and 2+ can't ?" I got the same old reply - "It is company's policy" . I wonder who makes them. There are some really stupid people above us. Seriously - how does an EM decide that this position requires at least 10 YoE. I bet they haven't the slightest clue and possibly tossing a coin. Or worst, they think what they were capable of doing at 10+ YoE themselves.

Are there any good websites filtering these type of companies?

I am keen on working with an early-age (Series-A/ seed) startup. Dont even know where to start looking. Dont want to advertise on Linkedin. Any suggestions?

Folks, a lot of times a startup gets funded and they start hiring but don't have it on LinkedIn or Wellfound or Indeed. How do you know which startup got funded and are looking to hire new team members? P.S., for non-tech, marketing roles.

Same as title. I'm trying to make a switch from service to product. Left my job 2 months back to fully commit and switch to a product based companies and I've used lever, LinkedIn, wellfound, ycombinator but I've found it hard to get things going (interview / round/ offers). Is there any way to find out the startups / product based companies in india ? Any platforms that you use to make the switch ?

I want to find seed stage startups to join as a founding engineer. I want to take some risk while I can and try if I can get a good return. How should I go about this? I have 7 years of experience. Building distributed systems, backend services with Go, Clojure, etc. I have some frontend experience as well with SvelteKit, Tailwind, etc. I also made a SaaS product recently and got around 10 small businesses as customers on subscription. The product itself got acquired for 5 figures USD after I ran it for 2 months
