I have been thinking about this lately of how the private cab services over fill the cabs with students and are of very bad quality, in summers students get drenched in sweat in their uniform .
So if someone was to start a service of providing premium cab service with ed-tech infotainment screens installed and an app to track when a student was seated in cab , and dropped of to school with all car details and driver details and number of students so that parents can track everything..
How does it sound? Do you think it will work ?

I am at my wits end. It takes 20-25 minutes just to get someone to accept my booking only for them to cancel. Almost roz ka hai! Bluesmart mein kabhi slots hi nahi milte! Ola, Uber, Rapido toh 20-25 min tak search hi karta rehta hai. Namma Yatri toh aur bhi hopeless hai! Please koi hack batao 🥲🙏🏻

- Namma Yatri is looking to enter the US market in partnership with American taxi unions to help them get an edge over platforms such as Lyft and Uber.
- While the talks for a US foray are still in early stages, Namma Yatri’s focus still remains on strengthening its presence in India.
- Fintech startup Juspay, which spun off Namma Yatri and other mobility apps into a separate entity earlier this year, will reportedly provide the funding for the US entry.
- Namma Yatri declined to comment on Inc42’s queries on the plans to enter the US market.
- Founded in 2022, Namma Yatri was launched by Juspay in partnership with Nandan Nilekani’s BECKN Foundation and backed by Bengaluru’s Auto Rickshaw Drivers’ Union (ARDU).

- The funds will be invested in technology, R&D, and product innovation to empower drivers, integrate public transport, and enhance customer experience.
- Moving Tech aims to increase driver earnings and provide reliable, affordable, and sustainable mobility solutions through direct-to-driver and multimodal transportation models.
- Originally launched as the Yatri app, Namma Yatri debuted in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Tumkur, and Kochi, and has expanded to Chennai, where it also facilitates metro-ticket bookings.
- The company was spun off from Juspay in April 2020 and is led by Shan M S and Magizhan Selvan, who aim to create an impact similar to UPI in India and Linux worldwide.

Lately there's a lot of negativity in general with layoffs, funding winter etc. PM as a function is one of the roles that's faced the brunt of it.

So this post is just to share our appreciation towards any product based out of India that we used/using daily to just create a bit of positivity in this environment.

Let me start with
1) Porter - Had to shift recently. Wonderful experience  managing the whole process through the app.
2) Urbanclap - Seemless process from booking a house cleaning service till the final rating and closure of request.
3) Yulu - Was stranded in a metro station with no Auto or bike taxis accepting my ride of 2 km. This came in as a savior with the app guiding a first time user to use a bike without breaking sweat.
