What PM roles should I apply?

I want to break into product management. I am an ML engineer with 4 yrs of experience in service based companies. What job roles should I apply to and how should I go on preparing for it?

Select domains where you have solved or worked on problems. Companies or products operating in those spaces are your best bet to break into PM roles.
As a PM, you need to have minimum 1 , ideally 2 and best case all the following 3.

  1. Craft - Experience in the product management
  2. SME - Extensive experience in the domain in which the company or product operates
  3. Hard skills complementing the PM role - Analytics, design or coding background
