I think better to get some good internship first. Post this u can apply for jobs. Also there r many finance online courses. You can go through. And capitalise on ur business experience

Hi, I am currently 22, graduated recently from a tier 2 institute and currently working at a US based startup earning 18lpa ( almost all base ) + rsu's, lately my family have been nagging me to do a postgrad, I am confused weather I should do an MBA, MS or not do a postgrad at all considering the years I will miss in workex. 

What should be my best course of action considering ROI in the next 10-15 years ??

I am getting opportunities to do an MBA in tier 2 colleges like IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIM Nagpur etc
Should I consider them or should I take a drop for a Tier1 MBA or should I continue to grow workex and switch in IT domain only ?

So, I've been trying to clear my CA Exam since long. 

Today was my exam as well, don't have the conviction that I'll be through yet again.

Really down about it cause I know I'm good when I work. My articleship (internship) period was a golden period when I got to learn so much and I made my principal happy many times with my work.

It's just the exams. Somehow not able to clear them. Won't blame anyone but me for it.

I'm thinking of taking a different path.
I am B.Com. and M.Com. Graduate.

Hi All, 

I’ll start with ‘About Myself’ -
I have 4-years of experience working in a Fintech organisation as a Software Engineer. But .. I hate it. Early in the college itself, I identified that I’m not strong technically (coding, DSA, and all), but, I’m quite good at Consulting / Management / Leadership roles. However, as always, under the peer pressure of my friends, family, and relatives too (yup, I know what you’re thinking) .. I still opted for a Technical line of work.

I realised it early itself that in most of the organisations, DS Algorithms and all won’t be needed. I was asked to work on a specific technology as per my team’s requirements and I did the best possible. I even indulged myself into the the then hot-topic ‘Cloud Computing’. Now, I am a hard-working person and damn I impressed everyone in my team. I’ve received countless awards and appreciations, quarter by quarter. And I’m currently acting as an Unofficial Technical Lead (with just 4 years experience in an MNC) for a team of almost 40 people, helping them with their work and tasks (which I’ve mastered already). But, my own personal growth here has taken a toll as now I am no longer developing anything myself, and neither is my Unofficial role of much value when I look for opportunities elsewhere.

My personal interests are into Management / Consulting roles. I’m even planning and preparing for an MBA degree from outside India next year to pursue the same.

However, till then, my question is .. HOW DO I SWITCHOVER from this technical line of work to Consulting / business / management line of roles (considering the difficulties of me being inexperienced in that line as of today on paper .. and a shift from 4 years of Technical experience to 0 years of Consulting / Management experience should be profitable).

Open to all suggestions and arguments.

1.Just graduated from BBA finance in April  2024 and I am unable to find a job in the finance sector and generally want to post like a financial analyst , I want to go into the investment banking sector.Any tips. 
2.I also am preparing for an MBA but I want to do a job for 2 years before perceiving my MBA, I am living in Kalyan and unable to find a job for a financial analyst post as a fresher can anybody give me some tips or referral 
3. My family is also telling me to prepare for the banking exam as I am not unable to get a job
4. My plan was to do a job for 2 years and then pursue an MBA in Norway can you please give me some tips for what I should do in this situation 
5. My education qualification is that I just completed my BBA (finance) with 8.35 Cgpa
6. I am also not interested in accounts job because my account is weak I was in scinence student and did not have much interest in accounts in college I recently gave an interview for a financial analyst position in Eclerx in Navi Mumbai but was unable to crack the aptitude test 

Can you guys give me some tips for what I should pursue and what action I should take now, can you guys give me a referral I am willing to work in any company or startup

Hey folks. 
I am a PM with 1 YOE. 

I make a lot of unforced errors and have been in bad situations because of poor communication too. Although, I try my best to communicate everything and anything. The founder just hear me speak and not to hear specifically. 

I am gradually feeling, that maybe I am not good enough to survive in this role. 

On the other hand, I am pretty much interested in finance. Am above average in hard skills named as Financial Modelling, Financial Statement Analysis, Deal Structuring and Valuation Techniques. I read pre IPO papers to understand more about industries and sectors. Do financial modelling for the same companies to check if I am on the right track or not. 

How can I switch to a finance role maybe?  Or what other fields should I explore to get out of this. I have graduation in BTech.

Lately, I've been contemplating pursuing an MBA, but I haven't initiated my GMAT preparation yet. I'm wondering if it's a wise move to transition my career in this direction. I've heard that individuals with a tech background who graduate from IIM/ISB might need to begin their careers anew, typically with a salary in the range of 27 to 28 lakhs. Can you confirm if this is accurate?
