What are some potentially adverse consequences of publicly calling out a former "employer"?

Hi guys One of the companies I worked with previously didn't pay me for 2 months. Obviously, I have sent a notice and intent to take legal action. They have been getting paid media attention for a bit now. Even though I didn't intent to post anything publicly, I received a notification from LinkedIn informing me that they have disputed my position with them. Really low move. Now I'm pissed. I just want to know if I make a public post against them, will it affect me negatively in terms of public perception or future aspects? I know I'm in the legal clear and the company is a very new startup and I'm not really worried about "burning bridges". My only concern is would a it potentially put off clients in the future? Would appreciate some industry veterans weighing in!
