What is the salary range in ford for sde2/3?
Hello, I might get a call from ford(Chennai) as I got referred through a friend, but he is not sure about the salary range. Current TC is 20(18+2), How much can I ask? When I was searching for a job a few months ago most of the HR ghosted me after my expectations. So want to know what range i can ask. Can I ask 30? Bit desperate as I have to relocate back to Chennai cause of my mother's health issues, this is the only opportunity I got so far in chennai, but compensation is also important as I am the only bread winner for my family with responsibilities Total exp 5yrs(3yrs is relevant, 2yrs in support) Stack : Frontend mostly+decent backend TC: 20 Kindly help!

I dont think ford pays that much. Asking for 30 will be equivalent to ghosting.
You have got 3 years of experience in full stack development, with decent knowledge in back end and you salary is 20 which I feel is already high when compared to salary range in Chennai!
You shd be happy if you can get the same ctc plus or minus 10% in Chennai unless you getinto some pure product based company!
