What should I do in my career, Anons?
Hi, I have 5 YoE and I am currently working at a small company doing backend and infrastructure development. My current comp is 60L pre tax. I am looking for a change and I have an offer from zscaler. The offer is for 38L pretax+10L stocks every year. The compensation is low but work will be interesting for me. Should I join them? The one huge downside is 90d notice period they have. I am inclined to join but deathly worried about 90d notice period. An alternative is, I keep practicing leetcode, apply to bigger companies in the next 6-12 months and join them instead of zscaler. What should I do ? Please suggest

tbh, for me if it’s a offer from zscaler, i’d join anyday without a question, since they have their dedicated team for security and threat research.
now, i’m not sure about you, since you are in development, but company wise i have always heard good news from them, if i’m not wrong they have p-wfh as well.

No don't. Totally not worth taking the cut and also the 90 days notice period is too much. Put off any future potential employers.
