Bit of a rant and a solution. I have worked for close to 18 years now lived in various part of country like Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and off course Bangalore. Additionally lived in eu for 5+ years. I feel post return to India I see the population has in general become more uncivil and rowdy. With useless apps like Swiggy/zomato/ blink it there is a splurge of stupid drivers on street. Similar is situation with Uber/ola etc with them the density of village folks with no road sense have increased tremendously. They drive badly and threaten common folks at the blink of an eye even though they are probably driving on wrong side of the road. I feel common folks should be given gun license so we can protect ourselves as we have no other way left to save our family and kids from these animals

Spend the next 15 years dropping them off to various Classes, attending Birthday parties, & visiting Home Depot for various Home projects. Invite in-laws from both sides (him/her) every six months to help in house & for kids. Step 7 Green card waiting is over. You got it. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 8 By the time, you are in 40s, you have saved enough Funds. The plan for returning back to India has not worked out. Now find new ways to spend money. Hey guys, Wanted to know your opinions and if someone has walked similar path before. I am in infrastructure engineering domain, want to transition into core backend with full stack. I have roamed around abroad and found really great quality of life - 1. Food quality is damn good! 2. Spending power when you travel with that currency to other parts of the world 3. Disciplined 4. Power of people, where the rules are same for all. You are just as powerful or weak as a politician in regards to upholding the law. I like these concepts and want to explore living abroad, learning cultures, traditions and people. I was thinking of getting into a Europe based company(understand the pay would be less but I get to roam EU countries with better work life balance) for my backend role and leave my current job to prepare for it as my entire day is sucked off by this current high paying job and it's not fun anymore Thoughts? Tldr - Not happy with my current life sucking role at startup. Have experienced better life abroad as a tourist. Want to switch to a job abroad and experience customs, traditions, people, culture, languages!

Confused if i should go for MS CS from USA or stay in India, how would you decide? I have almost 5 years of experience as a software engineer in India. Its been a long time now, that i am confused if i should go to US for MS considering i will have to take up a loan of 50 lakhs. Also the layoffs are here, probably scenario will be good once the MS is over (May ‘24) , and i might be able to repay the loan. It seems like a huge step and a risky one. My motivation for US are 1. Foreign Exposure and Experience 2. Bank Balance for better retirement in India As IT is uncertain and we never know what might happen in future. What are your thoughts on this, what factors should i consider?

Outside of India. Budget 5-10 lakh . Need not be that high. If it's less but still great that's better as well. Consider atleast couple of week's time.

What's the best and worst things about India/Indian culture?? Are we too much influenced by the other cultures/countries??
