What's the worst company you have worked for?
What made it worst? The pay, the culture, or your manager?

ICICI Bank, they had a strict sign in timing policy where if you are late to corporate office, half day salary would be cut, It would be reversed only when manager approves. The sign out time used to be 5.15pm, but you would be made to sit till 8 pm by most of the managers even if your job is done for the day. A sign out at 6 pm used to be called as half day by most of the managers. I heard now they donot have this dictatorial policy.
👋🏻🧃
I was confused which company is hirange then realised what it meant xD
Birju bhaiya does not want this to be decoded
Ola
The company has some serious issues. The CEO's behavior is toxic, the work environment is difficult, and employees are required to come to the office on weekends. None of the higher management people survives for more than a year. They also frequently cut costs, even reducing access to drinking water and requiring employees to bring their own glasses or bottles to the office.
Ooh absolutely, and this same behaviour trickles down!
I’ve been called to office multiple times on Saturday’s Sundays with what at the time they say is super serious work and urgent but all BS! No work done that could not have waited till Monday!
People in the company also behave weirdly and feels like every relationship is a purely transactional one!
Glad I left that shit hole!
Oracle
Why? Isn't it like you have to work very less in there?
I was in Marketing. And was overworked to the core. Had a massive target and toxic sales people.
Accenture Global Strategy and Consulting : too much chaos and internal rivalry.
Accenture has an extremely bureaucratic and hierarchical organizational structure.
Do you guys challenge each other to single combat to settle differences in board rooms?
Oyo
What ppl do even work there? Customer support is shit, platform is shit, vendors (hotels) on the platform arent even associated with the company. Whenever you book hotel and reach there, hotel says we dont have any association with oyo
They had 4 people for 1 person's job and some operations team members didn't rely on salary as much as on the commission they get from vendors. This was the pre covid condition
I personally haven’t quit from any of my previous jobs. I was laid off but that was for my own good to be honest.
What’s your story?
A friend reached out to someone at Paytm's marketing department for a referral and she said she no longer worked there and wouldn't suggest Paytm as an organisation. She refused to reveal any more information about it, so I'm just curious
Let's not take names. Let's just tell their designation..
For me it was my skip-level manager. A power hungry, dominating personality, who was also highly insecure. He made our life hell on Earth.
Easily the worst person I ever met
