What’s the worst that has happened with u or someone u know once u start slacking off/change attitude?
Just wondering if there are any interesting stories around this? Like I know one senior who is pretty important for a project so he takes his manager very lightly. Once the manager escorted him to a meeting room and kind of gave serious warnings. Worked only for a while I guess.

Probably have to come back again in 3 months.
I have been slacking by choice for 2 months now, the company just wants more work for same pay.
But itne me itnaich milenga, so let's see what happens
Fingers crossed 🤞
2 member team. My colleague was slacking off. Very visible. Multiple warnings. I also tried to guide her. First - on how to do real work. Then - how to atleast show enough so that the slack off doesn't become so glaringly noticeable. The boss then asked, do you guys need a third person in the team since there is so much left to be done. She said yes, advocated for it.
He found a third person, junior. Called me and said you need to interview this candidate. I did. We exchanged notes. Gave an offer. Told the colleague we gave an offer. Once it was accepted and it became sure that the new person will join us within the next few days - my colleague was informed that the company is asking her to leave and her notice period began.
I know one senior person who was in my team, having 10 years of experience. He became the product owner, after the previous manager left the project and the new manager joined.
So, the new manager used to ask for his advice/suggestions and gave him more responsibility to handle the team. This person started taking the manager very lightly and most of the time didn't even show up in the scrum meetings. In jan, he got the worst performance rating and put on PIP. Last month I found out he's on the bench now 😂😂
