All the big tech companies are moving to India that’s one of the best reason to stay in India. They give 1/3rd TC when compared with USA but cost of living here is 1/5th of USA.
Dude, base comp is what you should consider. That's 1/6 of US. At the same time, cost of living ain't cheap. US public schools and universities - you can actually get into one and their infra and curriculum are pretty decent. We don't get that here atleast in schools and colleges have very limited seating There are so many other things, tech community there, new gadgets etc is all really great and you can actually afford them better than you would here (take Iphone for example, you don't have to take EMI there to get Iphone)
Also, the number of countries you can visit visa free. The PPP difference, etc
Lol, let me give you an example an L6 in Google gets between 1.5-1.8 Cr on lower side, where as in Austin/Texas this comp is lower in US. Only Seattle, Bay Area, New York, London & Switzerland is on high pay, rest BLR pays more. So India is now not a cheap labour market anymore. Next emerging market is Poland, Romania, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia etc.
Pure air, 24 hours running potable water World class medicine, Best quality packaged food, Low chance of getting diabetes, Lower chances of cancer Best roads Best law and order Minimum taxes
Only India can provide all this opportunity.
I can afford a driver, cook and house help. All I need is money in bank and a phone with internet, there are so many services, I can get everything at doorstep, if this is not convenience then I don’t know what it is,
All the things I mentioned above is not doable outside unless you get paid in million+ salary
It's because India have cheap labour.
And in West its not big hassle to go out and buy things. You can easily take out your car, finding a good parking coz of broader roads (even the road reaching your home) . And in india even after paying crores you will end up in slum
Flexing about using convenience from an industry which has risen up on the lines of slavery ? Earning bare minimum just to stay alive and relevant is your flex?
