Karnataka never had a stable govt. They keep switching between Cong and BJP every elections. And whichever comes to power focuses on their pockets. Corruption is so heavily infused in Karnataka.  
 And the vote bank appeasement has driven a huge divide in the state. The locals fail to understand that their govt is fooling them of their rights and somehow blame everything on outsiders. It's a big mess now.  
 Hindu-Muslim, North-South, General-Reserved category and whatnot. These dividing factors are present in all of the country but Karnataka has topped the charts for me in these.

In my opinion, BJP leaders should promptly terminate the alliance without delay. The pen drive case is deteriorating rapidly. If this news happens to be true, it would mark one of the world's most scandalous cases involving sexual misconduct, rape, and extortion.
