Is it safe to hold mutual funds on Groww / zerodha?

Many of us are holding in non-demat form for various reasons. Kuvera/ MFCentral/ CAMS etc.
Could you please expand on the reasons. I have also heard this, but never found any major reasons
A few years back, I had invested in MFs via broker bankbazaar which was transferred to Investica since bankbazaar sold their MF unit. Then again, Investica also went out of business or I switched to some other broker ig...I forgot what happened.
I always registered directly on the MF house after purchasing via broker so that I can keep track.
I have 1 query - Can MF brokers defraud my funds after my money reaches MF house?

Ideally they can not. But what names you mentioned are not well knows ones. Dm me your detailed and I can help you get your portfolio verified.

I always register directly on the mfs website ( setup mandates for it ) and then import it in groww to check what's happening
